UPSC Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
1. Professor (Electrical Engineering):
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
(i) A Ph.D Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience of ten years in teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade OR
(ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First class Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a PhD Degree in Electrical Engg. and industrial/ professional experience of ten years, out of which at least five years at a senior level of Assistant Professor/Reader. Provided that the recognition for significant professional experience shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a three Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Competent Authority.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Ten years in teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade.
DESIRABLE: (i) Teaching, Research, industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization. (ii) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained books and/or technical reports. (iii) Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/research students or supervising Research & Development projects industry. (iv) Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and /or professional activities and (v) Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored Research & Development consultancy
and related activities.
2. Associate Professor (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering):
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
(i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized University or Institute, with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering; and
(ii) Doctor of Philosophy in Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years experience in teaching or research or industry.
DESIRABLE:
(i) Post Doctor of Philosophy publications and guiding Doctor of Philosophy students.
(ii) Out of total essential experience, two years post doctoral experience.
3. Associate Professor (Computer Engineering/Information Technology Engineering)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
(i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized University or Institute, with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Computer Engineering/Information Technology Engineering, and
(ii) Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a
recognized University or Institute.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years experience in teaching or research or industry

4. Assistant Professor (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering)

5. Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering/Information Technology Engineering)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology and Master of Engineering or Master of Technology from a recognized University or Institute, with First Class or Equivalent either in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Computer Engineering/Information Technology

6. Joint Assistant Director
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
B.Tech or B.E. or B.Sc. (Engr) degree in Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and
Communication or Information Technology or Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology or Electrical Engineering with Telecommunication as a special subject from a recognized University or Institute OR Master degree in Electronics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence or Physics with Electronics or Communication or Wireless or Radio subjects as specialization from a recognized University
or Institute.
(B) DESIRABLE: Three years’ experience in Radio Communication or Computer Communication or Satellite Communication or Artificial Intelligence or Internet of Things or Cyber Security from Central Government or State Government or Union Territory or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organization.
7. Deputy Director of Employment
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
Master’s degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Commerce or Psychology or Sociology or Social Work or
Public Administration or Business Administration from a recognised University or Institute.
(B) EXPERIENCE: Five years’ experience in any of the following fields: (a) Collection, analysis and interpretation of data, or socio-economic investigation, or research relating to demographics, employment or unemployment and labour market; or (b) Employment service operations including employment or market information, career or employment counseling, vocational guidance and career information; or (c) Experience in the areas of Human Resource recruitment or Management, analytics and Psychometric framework for potential assessment of the jobseekers and dealing with recruitment Portal; or (d) Experience in outreach activities in schools or colleges and conducting job-fairs including integration with academia, local industries, industries associations and training providers; or (e) Experience in organising, developing and implementation of career events, publications to publicize career related activities, mapping the job roles and occupations with the required industry skills, and market trends; or (f) Experience in, Rehabilitation, Placement, Evaluation, Vocational training and employment counseling to the Persons with Disability (DIVYANG).
8. Senior Assistant Controller of Mines
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution OR Master of
Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
(B) EXPERIENCE:
Five years experience in core Mining activity in (a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer, or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer for the candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution OR Three years experience in core Mining activity in (a) Managerial position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as graduate or management or junior trainee engineer, or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals as Gazetted Officer for the candidates having Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution

UPSC Recruitment 2021: Application Fee
